Hello,
I hope I’m in the correct forum?
My touchscreen for 2015 HC has peeled....again😡
Does anyone know where I can find the newer version Dodge has? The dealership says I need to buy the whole radio, $1,500.
This is my second screen, didn’t even last a year.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks.

Theirs a handful of places that sell them but the $1500 seems on par with the cost to replace it and upgrade to the 2018+ version. I do recall that some people have experienced some things not functioning once updating though. Here is one place - 2015-2021 Dodge Challenger GPS Navigation 8.4 4C NAV UAQ Radio with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto

Odd that you have such an issue with yours as I don't recall that being super common. You aren't cleaning it with something other than a dry rag (slightly damp if needed) are you? Does the car sit outside all the time in direct sunlight? Really curious what is making you go through them so fast.

I’m in Texas so I’m guessing high heat inside the car is kind of melting the goo. The first screen did the exact same thing as summer hit. Bought my HC used so it could have happened even before I got the car. I’m told they have a new screen that doesn’t delaminate but they’re hard to find. Dodge is no help of course. New radio is a big cost.

Just did some reading and saw several people say to contact @DodgeCares as it's a know issue and some are able to get it replaced for free outside of warranty because it's an obvious defect. Maybe give them a try first before buying another one especially if you've already replaced it once.

I was able to find new screens that you can install yourself. Half the price of a radio.

Pretty sure it's just plug and play if you buy the media hub and new radio. But, some people have reported that some functions don't work properly like the gauges in the srt pages and one person I've seen say his launch control no longer worked. Been a bit since I looked at things but I think most of the problems were with the early 2015's so later 2015+ should theoretically work.
