Funny you should mention this Linda. Back in the day, the 85 or so Z28’s had a fuel problem where if you were WOT to maybe 105 they would suddenly stall for maybe 3-5 sec, then back to WOT acceleration. The fuel pump could not keep up. This sounds eerily like a possible fuel deprivation problem but I didn’t want to suggest thinking the HC would be too advanced for such a problem. Unless maybe there is a fuel pump or circuit, or sloshing prob…Question for you. How much gas do you have in the tank.
Were you going sudden WOT?
At below a half tank it can cause the fuel to fly back and suck some air which will feel the way you are posting.
