So the Demon gets a Trans Brake which is integrated i just start to wonder when we will
see a bolt on aftermarket kit. This would sure change the way these cars launch.
Would a trans brake give any benefit to a car that is tracked regularly or would
the installation just create pile of broken parts, i guess that is my real concern.

The Transbrake is software driven, not hardware oriented, so it's probably a matter of time.

Demon has the same transmission so it is software. The only mechanical difference is the Demon has a higher stall converter.

I think the transmission is different internally from the Hellcat.

It's been reported, directly from SRT, that the trans is identical, except for the software.

Yeppers they lock A,B,C and D clutches all at the same time by activating the solenoids. When the trans brake is released only D clutch is released.

I've been wishing for this since I first heard Demon was getting it, and thinking the same - that it had to be software since the trans are the same. I'm anxiously saving a button or two for the trans brake on my new RH side cruise control switch with 3 new buttons with nothing to do
