I just had my transmission TSB for the shifting issues and what an improvement! Where before the transmission shift points were sporadic, they are nice and consistent. Just thought I would let everyone my 0.02 on the TSB

Anyone else ave this TSB done? Please chime in with before and after comments.

My car was built in March '15 and doesn't have that shifting issue....but the 4-5 shift is pretty sloppy compared to all the others.

Is the TSB number listed somewhere? My car was built in Feb 2015 and is has sporadic and harsh up/down shifting when driving at 25-35 mph. Thanks

Here is the TSB that cured my 2016 Hellcat's problem with the downshift from 2nd gear to 1st gear. The transmission would hammer itself into 1st gear as you pulled to a stop while parking or pulling up to a stoplight... especially with the transmission in Sport or Track. I called it into the SRT customer service number as a safety problem because it made the car lurch forward as if you were rear-ended.

I don't know if there was an earlier TSB for shifting issues, but it does describe some other shifting problems that were addressed, as well.

The hard downshift to 1st gear while still rolling was a problem with both mine and a friends 2018 HC. I met a guy with the same problem in a carwash with a 2018 392 also. I put up with that for about 18 months until they finally came out with a software update for the trans in Jan of 2020. It consistently did it in auto mode, but not in sport mode. One time it hit hard enough that my wife's seatbelt locked before we got stopped for a traffic light.
