I was informed that as of earlier this month, TSB - 08-087-22 new security update (RFHUB re-flash) for 2018 Dodge Challengers is now available. I am interested to know if anyone has had this installed in their Demon as of yet and if so how did it go and are you experiencing any issues/concerns?

Just received notification in the mail today for my Demon, interested also.
I received my letter in the mail Saturday morning. Looking at the fine details I am concerned about the fact that the RF – Hub will no longer be able to accept any new updates should they occur and be needed for other changes or mods that should happen in the future.

Is this the same one we've been talking about for many months? I have a 2015 so haven't been notified yet.
I reached out to Dodge management and for the 2021 model year they used a pin code to reduce the horsepower to 3 hp if the pin code is not accurately entered. However for prior models Reprogramming the RF-Hub is the method that will be utilized and they’ve just recently got back to model year 2018 at the beginning of April.

Taking my Demon in on Monday for the update. I will let everyone know if there are any issues with this procedure.

Any updates?

Had the update done today. Took about 20 minutes to reprogram it. One point of note is that the lead technician came and talked to me about making sure I understood that once the programming was completed that I could not add additional key fobs to the car from this point forward. He said that the software is written in such a manner that even the dealerships cannot override the program to add additional key fobs. I have my original 3 sets of keys so I told him I understood and to go ahead and complete the process.

The car ran fine during my 6 mile trip home. Did a couple of pulls from idle to 6K rpm with no issues (red key-808 HP but not in drag mode). So far so good.

That's good news. I have 2 extra FOB's I'll be taking in.
