Traffic the week leading up the the cruise is heavy, but it moves, the cruise is bumper to bumper from sun up to sun down. However it is a sight to behold, its the superbowl of car events. If you have never been, it would be worth a trip, there is nothing like it in the world. It will be interesting where they hold RoadKill Nights next year, because I'm pretty sure thats not going to be at M1 Concourse. As far as hotels are concerned, anything on Woodward is going to be booked, if you stretch it out 30mins or so you should have no problem. However with that being said, if you are going to do that I'd suggest PM'ing me or another local member as to where you are thinking. Its real easy to book in a crap area without knowing it.

Cool pics Turd. Thanks for posting them.
^ ^ I agree! Thanks Turd for sharing those! What I like about that is the spectrum of vehicles that are there! There is something for everyone, even if you don't know what your thing is, you'll figure it out there! Pretty Darned Cool, if you ask me!

That GT40 (or GT/Whatever) is a Cool looking car! I also forgot just how long those old Cadillac's were! That is one slick looking barge of an automobile and is a Great example of some old school Detroit iron! Both are Very Cool in their own ways!

Why's that?

a few reasons...one is Woodward is scheduled to get tore up, but that can be worked around, the others have more of a political element to it. The first roadkill was in the parking lot of the Silverdome, it wasn't until the second year did it move to Woodward, so its not out of the realm of possibilities that it could move again

How would you compare it to Mardis Gras before the Corona hit? 😂
North of Square Lake Rd you get a Mardis Gras type of crowd in terms of demographics as to how the conduct themselves, south of Square Lake you get bigger crowds, but not as many shenanigans as you would see on the north side. And I'm speaking on terms of the people watching from the side of the road. On average there is 1.5 million in attendance...thats a shit ton of people, so about 4 to 15 times in attendance over Mardis Gras, depending on year
