Who did your tune with Diablo? Most tuners are not using Diablo any more.

Mines tuned on diablo. 900whp. Love the T2 for PID monitoring

Well most tuners now will not tune with Diablo. I was having problems at the top end of the track with the throttle body closing. I was told by my tuner who is well known he has seen that with Diablo. Therefore he is making the transition to HP Tuners. My diablo pcm got fried. So I saved my original one from the car. I sent that in to Diablo to unlock. Now I get a P1400. Mr. Litch confirmed they opened it up the wrong way. Nothing from his end as to he is sorry. We will send you a new pcm. Nothing. I get no help from Diablo. Mine has close to 1000 rwhp and 1030 torque. So I purchased the hp tuning software today. I am just making a decision in the next few weeks whom my tuner will be.

HHP uses Diablo. I have the T2. That's what I have and it works great, but if I were going to get into the tuning side more I'd go with HP tuners, too, and I may get into that in the future. I basically just said give me a tune, and I have spent most of my time since trying to get consistent on my 60' which I am starting to do now.

This is just not correct man. We have cars making way more power than you with no throttle closing issues. The issue is not at all related to the software being used. Go ask HHP how they keep the throttle open on the 3.0 DragPak whipple car thats tearing up the track, or any of the countless cars he tunes with CMR that outperform the others.
Also, I have been very clear with you about where your P1400 came from and also provided you with a fix for that. You keep saying I told you a mistake was made, that is absolutely not correct. You misinterpreted something to hear what you wanted to hear. Its frustrating that I try to assist you on the weekends or whenever you reach out to me only to have you regularly twist my words and make posts like this. I truly wish you the best of luck with your move to HPtuners, there's nobody there to answer your questions.

To say you get no help from Diablo is a slap in the face to me as I have replied to your every email for years now, with honest advise and input in every instance. Its usually your tuner that you are upset with but I guess its fair that you need to shift your frustration toward us since the tuner who seems to let you down regularly convinced you that the shortcomings in your tune were a result of the software being used. Think that through for a minute :)

You will have to speak with Tim Barth. He specifically stated that it is a glitch in your software and he has seen it a few times on other cars.
I also asked you specifically about the p1400 I was getting. I also asked if it was opened incorrectly. Your response was “yup”. You then asked if it was opened years ago or if I had sent it to hp tuners before sending it to you. Only after I complained to the technical department for a refund did you step in.
I was an excellent customer for you. Including buying the suspension controller from you. I asked a few questions of you including how to unlock the old unit. Crickets from you. In fact a week later I had to ask if you were still with the company.
On prior e mails to you you said to forward the tune and you would help. No help ever came. You would state your techs are backed up. I am still waiting a year later for your help. No forget that. I got help else where.
With customer service like that no wonder why so many are leaving Diablo sports. This is not an isolated incident Mike. A lot of others are saying the same.
I would take this as constructive criticism and hopefully better customer service will come of it.

The 'yup' was clearly not in response to the pcm being opened incorrectly, We do more pcms than anyone and we are the only ones to offer new pcms without the P1400.
I count over 50 emails I sent you since March of this year. If thats crickets, then we're in a tough spot.

We appreciate all of our customers, hence why I respond to emails on Sunday when you are seeking information. The frustration lies in you spinning what I tell you in a public forum.

Again, I urge you to look around at all the CMR tuned cars and wonder why none of them have throttle closing issues. Its either mechanical or something that was missed in the tune, but it is in no way the 'fault' of the software being used. Again, best of luck moving forward.

Mike, I see you are not answering the specific issues I brought up. Bad customer service. Again on this latest issue I had to complain to hire ups. You like to pat yourself on the back. Let the customer pat you on the back. It looks better. Since you are not taking my complaints constructively I cannot wish you the best of luck moving forward as you did me. You always promised help. But not one time did I actually get help from you. Except for this one time I complained about you to hire ups. I will let third parties judge this thread. I however cannot recommend Diablo Sports for their CMR tunes nor their customer service. And that is thought through very thoroughly.

Again, I feel I have personally provided you with above and beyond levels of customer service. If you don't see it that way I do apologize. Let us know if the grass is greener when you get there ;)
