On the way home from work last week I had stopped at a light and was making a right turn, as I started the turn I had a loud noise, almost like driving over a glass bottle breaking, I know for sure there was nothing I ran over, so then again this morning Linda said she had a loud noise same as I described. Has anyone else had this? Guess I need to take this in this afternoon to get checked.

Service at Reedman is great, they said bring it right over.
I know it's a weird sound, but with her driving it to Kentucky tomorrow better safe than sorry.

I hope to hear the culprit because that is kinda disturbing - the glass break noise thing

Not here. Glass bottle breaking? Maybe someone stuffed them in your axles as a prank?
Brampton Builder up to some tricks?...Naw, he wouldn't do that...would he?. I do remember a story from the 70's when someone on the assembly line...can't remember the car maker.....put an empty Pepsi can inside a wheel well area, so every time the driver made a turn, it would rattle around. I remember that when the dealer discovered it after a lot of searching, there was a note attached to the can that said...Ha Ha...you found me.

LOL!!! Maybe that's what it was in my car up until 1900 miles; that clunk or thump whenever I slowed down to under 5mph but it wasn't every time either.

She's back, tech said it has to do with the traction control and accelerating while making a turn, kind of makes sense but I have never experienced this before in a Challenger or Charger.

Especially making a relatively tight turn going uphill. Lots of cars do that. My wife's '01 Jag used to do that and it was quite noticeable. Hellcat does it in the same spot. It's the wheel slipping a bit.

They were able to get the car to repeat the noise doing figure 8's their comment was that Chrysler was aware of the issue, so when they used the term " issue" I think it is something people are complaining about. Just need to drive with the traction turned off......

Driveshaft, definitely. Made of glass, don't you know. Carve up the hood and make it into authentic Italian Lasagna pasta too :p

For real; sorry to hear it 'bro...:(
