I guess at least some buyers simply cannot handle the raw power of the Hellcat Challengers they bought, because now there are two used ones for sale on ebay. One has 182 miles, the other 300 or so, both listed as "used", but both are asking above sticker price nevertheless. Admittedly, the original purchasers may have had a loss of job, or death in family, or some other shocker that made them have to sell their awesome new car. But, I prefer to assume that they just couldn't handle the raw power, and were too afraid they were going to surely fishtail into a light post in the near future, and had to sell it, to 'save their own lives'!
In any case, if I was willing to pay above MSRP, I would certainly want to get one without those miles on them. Because, if somebody realizes they have to sell their hi-po car, quickly, what would make them want to abide by those pesky break-in procedures? They likely abused the hell(cat) out of 'em, knowing they wouldn't have to worry about any repercussions, that's the next owner's problems! Heck, one of the used ones on ebay even has new tires on the back; That probably means that the factory ones were melted down into a pool of goopy black rubber & smoke already!

to they are testing the market see if they can make a buck
IMO, they won't get what they're asking. Brand new ones are not going for the amount of money being asked on ebay that's in the high $70's or low $80's.

or divorce when someone brought their new $70k muscle car home LOL
I can definitely picture this scenario, it probably is happening across the country! The wife sees the bold new gas-guzzler, asks "you bought WHAT?!?!", followed by an ultimatum such as "Either the Hellcat goes, or I go!", and in some cases, perhaps due to the young children, the husband reluctantly chooses to preserve the marriage and let his Hellcat go...

Honestly, I know it makes me seem the cad, but I actually DID JUST THAT! When I wanted to buy a T-Bucket, a decade ago, I already had a two-seater Stingray, and my wife forbid me to buy another impractical vintage car. I told her I really wanted to get a hot rod. She was adamant that if I DID get a hot rod, it would be the END of our marriage! I had some sleepless nights, for sure, and after a few days when I drove home in my raucus new hot rod, the rage was unbridled and the resulting divorce WAS costly. I lost most of my money, and most of my real assets as well, ~she had a better lawyer than I. BUT, I kept my new T-Bucket AND my `72 vette, and pushed on with my life. NO REGRETS.

Good point Abe, there is a distinct and important difference between the words USED and "straight off the production line", right? Guess the dealer 'accidently' forgot about that crucial distinction. (Just like many dealers "accidently" list Hellcats below sticker, and then blame the software or some dodge 'system glitch'!)

That is very sad...:( I don't get the impractical part. All cars serve a purpose, HEMI just more than others! Lol;). I am glad you got to keep the cars!

Yeah it's both according to Chrysler trainer who came to my dealership. So even the SRT tech can't shotgun the hellcat at 707HP even if they wanted to :) during the PDI test
