uConnect screen is black after jump start

Hey all,

I have 19 challenger. The garage that I park my car at left the car on overnight and when I tried to start the car it wouldn't start. We then jump started it this morning and everything seemed to be running fine.
I came back 4 hours later and turned my car on. Car turns on fine, I checked the battery voltage and its sitting where it should be. The check engine light is on and my uConnect screen is just black. I tried to see if I accidently hit the screen off and that isn't the case. The dashboard cluster is working and showing that the blind spot detection is disabled.

I don't really know what to do. The car runs, my backup camera doesn't turn on because the screen isn't turning on. The parking assist sensors are all working. All the lights are working. Just the damn uConnect screen is black and I get a check engine light.

Anyone have any suggestions? I don't have a OBD reader and I don't know if I can access the codes any other way?
Maybe I have to pull a fuse out and put it back?

I would try disconnecting the battery for a bit & reconnect it & see if it works ?.... then call dealer.

The battery was probably not fully recharged after being run down. Even though the engine started with a jump it takes some engine run time to recharge the battery. Really it might not happen. The alternator is not there to recharge a flat battery, it is there to replenish what the battery loses from sititng and from starting the engine. The alternator other job is to supply electrical power the vehicle requires while the engine is running.

The only way to be sure is to connect a good battery charger to the battery and rely upon it to let you know the battery is back to a full charge.

Thus the symptoms suggests a low battery or insufficient electric power supply due to the battery requiring more electricity that its "share" due to being run down.

Lead acid batteries do not like to be fully discharged. While they can be recharged and appear to be resurrected they're never the same after and not as good as they would have been.

Modern cars are very sensitive to low battery power so I would just bite the bullet and replace the battery and take care to not leave the car on again and run down the battery again.

If you prefer, and there's a good case to be made for doing this, you can of course do as Dodge Cares advises and take the car to a Dodge dealer to have this investigated.
