Hey Fam
Uconnect screen on my 17 challenger hellcat suddenly touch function stopped working .
All functions are working fine yet no touch …
Tried removing the -ve battery terminal which did not solve the issue ..
any other fix you guys can think of other than taking it to the dealer or paying 500$ to replace the screen !?

Have you tried to hard reset the unit?

Like @Paladin06 advised, go into the Radio Menu and do a Factory Reset with Start Button in the Run Position, engine Off. Do the Factory Reset twice back-to-back. There is also Fuse F37 back next to the Battery in the trunk with Start Button Off.

Thanks for your kind reply guys !
I tried to soft rest and hard rest of the unit with no luck !
I decided to take off the Uconnect system off for a look !
Discovered that the ribbon cable was detached from the digitizer.
So since I was having the delimitation issue as well as a broken digitizer I decided to order a new screen for the Uconnect!
Tried eBay yet the cheapest were like 600$ not including shipping and Import Charges which honestly seems to be a ripoff for such basic screen!
So I ordered the new screen LA084X01 (SL)(02) from AliExpress which is less likely to delaminate like the (SL)(01) and it cost me 460$ with free shipping the product came with a genius QR code and was shipped In 10 days and it exactly took 5 min to install!
Hope this helps with any concerns you guys have with your Uconnect!

PS: plz don’t mind them ugly slides the Mrs bought them and I have to wear them with my mouth shut !
