So a few days ago I was driving through a parking lot and apparently hit a speed bump from hell. It made a terrible scraping sound, and now I hear these flex noises when I start moving or come to a stop. Also, the exhaust is louder and I can feel it vibrating a bit through the floor. My luck has been terrible lately. Anyway, I don't have a jack but when I got down there with a flashlight, this part (circled in yellow) appears to be ripped / bent down. I have an appointment at the dealership but it's still two weeks out. Any ideas what I could be looking at?

Found this old thread with good belly pics. It's a 2015 but I don't imagine much changed lol.

Well, it looks like I lucked out. Went to a local Marco Muffler on my way home yesterday, and it was just the tunnel brace that had bent back and made contact with the exhaust right at the X pipe. They removed it, and bent it / banged it back into shape and reinstalled it to get me by on the short term, but I might look for a replacement at some point, even though I don't think it's super functional. Best of all, they didn't charge me anything for the work. It's crazy how much vibration and noise transmitted through the car just from that brace making contact. Made me think it was far worse...

Did you lower your car before the hit?
Have same issue with oversized speed bumps, literally can't drive in front entrance to my complex because new speed bump will make contact a 1 mph. Seems to be more of an issue with Chargers, wish they came with adjustable shocks, I have considered switching the shocks out but they are pretty good already, so I guess I'm using the back entrance now. Stupid thing was all gouged-on top within a week.
