Factory Ordered a Charger Redeye in F8 Green, in late September, two days ago I posted I haven't heard anything since I ordered.... then i got a call Friday night it was delivered! That was a surprise because I never even heard a vin number was assigned.

Of course the roads have been wet ever since, but the suede/carbon fiber/leather dash upgrades were definitely worth it. Much nicer inside.

After 2.5 hours I justed wanted to get out of the dealership, noticed today they never applied the $1000 deposit I paid months ago to my total. Called the dealer earlier today. Still haven't heard anything....

I noticed the running lights are MUCH dimmer on the 2021 Redeye compared to the 2018 SRT 392

congrats on the upgrade; and it sounds your dealer needs the typical communication skills training that most of them do. dont let that 1k slip, though.

Congrats. I call my dealer once a week lol. I heard the factory opens today so I’ll call Friday to see if they got a VIN yet.

I'm completely happy with my 2019 but holy s***, all this ordering, communicating, color options, transporting and delivering talk makes me really want to upgrade and throw my hat in the ring. But it would cost me so much more for essentially the same car and is probably a bad investment since I already own one. Prices are crazy now and I got a pretty good deal on my '19. But fantasizing about a new one is as good as it gets for now lol. I am jealy, though!

I didn't think the 2021 Redeye came with red led lit steering wheels? Noticed it last night. I assumed that was a 2022 feature.

Congrats on the Cat. I went from a SP to a HC a two years ago. What a difference 222 hp makes. Have fun and be careful.

I've been afraid to take it out of auto. Honestly due to the colder weather and humidity the roads have been damp since I got it.... even where it looks dry and I give it gas I loose traction.

Driving the SRT392 like I stole it in track mode and custom definitely taught me to be easy on the throttle and feel for tires slipping.

I cannot wait to get a set of Continental DWS06's for this thing. They made a night and day difference on the 392 for traction over the all season pirellis's

Congratulations!! The 392 is a fun car but the Hellcat is something totally different. The first time I drove one in was curious how noticable the difference would be and man is it. Glad they made right on your deposit. Have worked in Dodge dealerships for 14 years in the service side. Seen far more idiot salesman than ones I'd wanna work with.
