I've noticed my ventalitaed seats don't seem to cool down as expected. Doesn't seem like it's turning on, or cooling enough. Today it was about 91 degrees outside, back & butt was still hot with cooling on high. I placed my hand on the seats, couldn't tell if it was blowing cool air. Anyone else notice this issue? Thanks

I had the seat fan on high yesterday and seemed to be comfortable. Definitely feel the air coming up through the leather. I don't think this is conditioned air, just air in the cabin, so your cabin temp will have a lot to do with the coolness of the seats.

Yes i have noticed the same thing. Some times it seems i can feel it well other times its on high setting and nothing. . .

Put A/C on, but only to your feet. The seat fan will suck up the cold air.

Thanks all - didn't know about the seats using cabin air. After turning on the floor vents i could notice cooler air from the seats.

Noticed the same thing, had to turn the radio off to listen for the fans to be sure they were on.

I've had similar cooled seats in my Ram for over 5 years. What I've noticed is that the effect of the cooled seats is much more significant if you have been sitting in the seat for 5 minutes or more (before you turn on the cooled seat). If you turn them on as soon as you get in the car, you don't really notice it. But if you are hot, or the seats are hot, and you've been sitting in them for 5 minutes or more, the effect is almost immediate. This seems to be holding true in the Hellcat as well.

I think the cats lost the true air conditioned seats in place of ventilated seats due to the inter coolers and engine mods on the cat, whereas the SRTs have A/C cup holders and seats. Maybe the future cats will have these upgrades available along with the adaptive cruise.

has anyone figured out what the problem is when it comes to not having the cooling or the heating on the seats work at all? Just got a Hellcat that is a 2015 so the warranty does not cover this part anymore and my passenger seat does not seem to work at all when it comes to this although I can hear some kind of motor running and it

The seats are ventilated if you aren't running ac all you will feel is air movement etc.

The seats pull air thru them with the fans inside the seat, if you don't run the ac all you will feel is cabin air temp bsing pulled thru.

Pulls air from near the floor board. When I activate mine you can immediately feel it in the butt area and lower part of lower back. Doesn't go very high on the back, not sure why. The heating element is of course electrical, like a glorified electric blanket. If you're not getting either, take it to the dealer if in warranty. Go sit in one at the dealer and turn on the seat cool / heat; see if it is different than yours.
