Sorry already voted... but she is defiantly at work !! that looks like Air under the tire. What have you done to it?

Its stock tune but with a little weight reduction and good wheels and tires. Best 60’ is 1.375. Yes a tiny glimmer of light under the skinnies. I do have the AAD/Direct connection control arms in the rear and the front uppers. 15” conversion out back as well. My car weighs 3980 without me in it.

I defiantly have an issue ( even argue driver but it is the MPH that scares me) . And any one willing to look at HP tuners logs would be appreciated..

I started logging my runs because I suspected a short shift. Sure enough, 1-2 shift came at 5400, 2-3 shift was 5600 and 3-4 and 4-5 was right at 6400. The one time I went ¼ mile racing the air was not good at all. So its best pass was 10.24 @ 135.1 mph. My local track is 1/8 mile where its best run was 6.420 @ 107.2 .

A LITTLE weight reduction LOL, (if 500 lbs is a little), your car is Anorexic 🤣🤣🤣

Just my wheels and tires alone was a 100 lb weight reduction. Passenger seat removal was another 60, Kirkey drivers seat saved 35 lbs.
I have no idea what it weighed Stock. Im anxious to make some passes at a sea level or lower DA track. So far the best air i raced in was +850 DA with a lousy 48 grains of water in the air.🤮

Thats HEAVY!!!!! Ron, what is track did you make your record passes at? One of my buddies stock tune both ECM/TCM just ran 9.90 @ 137. These cars are very capable with stock tunes if you are willing to put in the effort to find out what they want. I do datalog mine. I just bought a bypass harness from HPTuners and hooked up to monitor the info. You cant write anything due to locked PCM, but you can verify and identify the shortcomings. Nothing you can do about it, but at least you know whats going on.

4454 lbs is SS curb weight.

With the right wheels/tires and some VERY easy, quick and reversible things done….4100 is pretty easy. I race alot, weight reduction is important to me to make my axles, driveshaft, differential happier and live longer. I just need a good track with stellar air to make a hero pass.

I guess cars weigh more were I live 🤣.

My 21 NARROW BODY Red-eyes weight As delivered from the Factory (not using "stock" anymore since it appears to have a different definition online 😏), with 1/4 tank of gas, rear seat delete, empty trunk, with 42lb front skinnies, 56 lb rears with 305/45/17 et-rs, and the Actual owner and driver of all times posted at 200 lbs, on a Certified scale weighs in at 4440 lbs.

My times were all at Cecil county Dragway, and to be clear Never claimed any records just my best times, 1800 rpm launch, dead hook no spin at all.

Awesome. I like the stock tune deal. My car is definitely not stock, but the tune is. AAD control arms F/R. Small rear brakes for 15” conversion and most importantly…. Weight reduction. Cecil is an awesome track. Id love to run their….just a bit too far for me.

Oh you think your car has a problem? The biggest favtor in HP is going to be the air. DA and Grains of water . The guys in Denver are never going to have fast times like guys at ATCO, Houston, Gainesville etc.. in the winter. Weight plays a factor, but air is king. What track are you running at?
