I understand where you're coming from on this but it just goes to show how many people like these cars bone stock. A percentage of those people feel its sacrilege to make modifications like adding quad round exhaust tips to a Challenger or custom graphics to a Hellcat. Heck, even suspension and wheel changes are frowned upon by some.
For me personally, I enjoy seeing people personalize their cars and tend to vote for modified rides. But I think its great anyone can enter. I'm sure lots of people enter just to share their rides with no expectation of winning.
