Sorry if this is a dumb question.. I'm trading in an M3 for the Hellcat and I'm concerned I may have been spoiled by BMW service... The Hellcat will be my daily driver, so I'm wondering: if something breaks on a Hellcat and you have to take it to a Dodge dealer for repair.. does Dodge/SRT provide a loaner car?

yes, someone stated that they do..if a dealer gives you a hard time just call SRT and they will set it up thru your dealer... NOTE it "might" be a matchbox fiat that you get :D

Usually they provide a shuttle back home. Typically have to get a rental car.

I had a problem with my SRT8 last year and it was covered by the warranty. After complaining on my dealer's FB page the manager gave me a loaner at no cost. It is all about talking to the right person.

SRT 2015 Hellcats free tow and loaner car call SRT. Dealer may or may not provide the car a dodge or lot car is not guaranteed but you are entitled to a loaner and tow.

Yeah American car companies aren't the best on loaners at all. All euro car dealerships give out 60-70-80k cars as loaners no problem to even people who bring their 90's Mercedes or BMW into service.

Hey Andi, I just noticed you are in Frisco. If you find a dealer that will provide a loaner please let me know I've had zero luck at all the Chrysler dealers in Weatherford,Ft. Worth, Arlington and Grand Prairie.

Cadillac is pretty decent with loaners but boy they sure try to stick it to you for every little thing when you go in for service.

I always get a loaner on my 2003 BMW. They just toss me the keys to one of the BMW's available. I just pay for fillup before I return the car. I am buying the Hellcat out of state so I will definitely push SRT to arrange a free loaner for service time. My local dealer wanted to rip me off for + 10K on a car so I may look for service farther away from home. a loaner would be a necessity.

Since I got so many differing answers on this.. I called SRT. Spoke to Duane (whom I've chatted with multiple times online asking about my order:) ). Great news. Duane at SRT confirmed that for SRT Hellcat owners, if your Hellcat is in Dodge SRT service during the warranty timeframe for a warranty-covered repair, SRT will arrange for either a loaner vehicle or pay for a rental car, for up to 5 days. So this is great news.

I then asked "what if it takes longer than 5 days to repair and the car is undrivable? (i.e. engine failure, etc)." He said that would be on a case by case basis but it's very likely the loaner or rental would be covered till you got your car back fixed.

And what about oil changes / non-warranty service? "Nope, we don't do loaners for that."

OK... so not quite as good as luxury brand service, but still a lot better than worst-case-scenario..

My experience between Dodge service and BMW. The BMW gives you just about anything to drive even just for an oil change. They gave me Z4, 525,325x, once I got a Porsche Cayenne, MB e class, MB C class.

Dodge won't give you a loaner for an oil change they make you wait there in the dealer but they have donuts and popcorn. If you need a loaner they will have you picked up by Enterprise and its a total inconvenience.

BMW does a much better job with the loaner cars. I don't drive BMW cars anymore for other reasons that I will not go into here.

Yep, thats why I got rid of mine. It would be cheaper to rent a car myself than pay the exorbitant repair charges I was getting hit with every time. Not once did the cost come in at what I was quoted. With Dodge, not once has the charges been over what they quoted me without calling and telling me if there was something else that needed to be added. o_O
