Taking newly bought durango SRT Hellcat home after 500 miles babysitting I accelerated hard and heard this weird noise like metal shattering coming from like center console. Mostlikely ampliefied by it but it was very disturbing shutter noise. Hopefully it is just some loose heatshield or something loose. I wanted to enjoy it... Dodge quality... I caught so many flaws...

Yes. Dodge should be very thankful we buyers are willing to overlook quality for quantity (as in horsepower). Get that thing to you local dealer right away. It doesn't sound major but could cause more damage. Good luck and hopefully someone else will have more insight.

Seems the exaust hits the frame under hard acceleration
