10.8 stock A8 vs my 800+ wheel manual at 11.0

Manuals really are an achilles heel.

I ran a 12.0 at 125 on my crappy 275 Pirelli all-seasons. I thought that was remarkable, but it sure as hell wasn’t much fun. More like frustrating. Could’ve gotten out and jogged a quicker 60’ time, I think.

Okay then: stock except for drag radials. Does that work? Geez

Very nice job qwk93ta! Yes, there have certainly been others that have run 10’s with drag radials only, with these cars. But there have been many more that have tried but have not achieved it yet. This is a nice accomplishment.

I run pretty consistent 10.7s in good weather with 2.62 diff and all stock minus tires. I think, on my car at least, with a perfect run in perfect condions a 10.60 1.5 60ft is possible.

If you have a 3.09 diff then I'd say 10.5 in perfect world.

3.09 isn't any quicker than 2.62 on a stock car. 3.09 arguably has a very small benefit on a car with raised shift points. Worth mentioning when comparing your car to others, you're running on one of the quickest tracks in the country.

I talked to a guy with a Charger with a 2.85 pulley Friday who had just swapped in a 3.09,, Sed it ran the same time as the 2.62. 6.65 @108.

He was working with Dusterhoff live remote tuning but still didn't go any faster after a revision. Then the track went to crap and turned into Spin City.

Three months ago I'd have said there's no way my 2020 would ever run a 10.8x,, After running 11.1xx with a 7.17 1/8th, I figured out these things are seriously sensitive to octane,, Friday I hit 7.02 with a 1.55 60ft with a 97octane E17 blend. That would've been a 10,83x based on how my car has been running out the back end.

Now I agree, 10.6xx's should be easy in low 50degree air with the 2.62 even with the IMVHO low stock shift points.

No lift that shit. everytime you shift it closes the throttle body blade and re-opens it, autos dont.
Yeah, the WOT Box is on my list.

if youre tuned, have your tuner throw a similar aspect in your tune without a box. theres a thread on here about it, HHP can make it sorta similar to a WOT box.
