Not sure if I’ll get any solid info right away here but if anyone hears of the order banks opened up please post it.
Does US & Canada open up at the same time usually? I’m in Canada, waiting to to price a 2022 Super Stock. I guess I didn’t suffer enough waiting for my 2021 HCWB 😜

Thanks 😎

Not sure about the 22 order book, but my build date on my 2021 which was in December, has now been pushed back to January...nothing like having a 2021 building built in 2022!
Someone posted that the start of 2022 production is pushed back now til Jan 27th so guess that makes sense they'll still be finishing up 2021 in early January.

I reached out to my Chrysler rep and ordering for 22 Chargers and Challengers open next month. Should open the same time as allocation is released so best guess would be the 8th/9th.

We will be doing 5% below invoice on 22's as well.
Ya'll are making it really tempting

Any word on whether manuals will be orderable? If so, count me in.

So if a car was ordered a week ago what’s the chances of it being a 2021 instead of a 2022. If they open the orders up next month will that switch previous orders over to the 2022s?
Not if you got a VIN assigned. If not, then maybe. They are still taking 21 orders though and dealers who have allocations are getting them built.

They're not going to accept an order that they don't think they can build so all this talk about them automatically switching an order to the next model year really doesn't happen.

At this point I would wait til next month and order a 2022.

Even if they guaranteed they were going to build your car if you order a 21 right now I wouldn’t even consider buying. Why the hell would anyone wanna receive a new 2021 vehicle in 2022 at full price when you could just wait a couple weeks and order a 2022 model

Thanks for the info few reasons I want a 21. My wife took delivery of a 21 trackhawk a month ago and after selling my Hellcat a year ago and seeing hers thought it would be nice to have two 21 cars in the garage. Plus not sure with everything going on if the price of the 22 will increase or not so figured it was a good time.

2022 Model year will include the Intrusion Modlule: it senses glass breakage, movement inside the vehicle and vehicle inclination, sounding the alarm if there are any changes. It will be offered for the 2022 model year, standard in cars with the 392 and SRT® Hellcat HEMI® engines.

I travel a lot up North, so it will be worth the wait, plus the Enhanced Security Mode and the Key Programming Lockdown should be standard on Hellcats for MY 2022.

In August I was considering waiting and ordering a 2022MY but what pushed me to order 2021MY is due to the global parts shortage. Everything is in a shortage, not just microchips, but tires, wiring harnesses, plastics, glass, & steel. I strongly believe that if you have a dealer with an allocation, order immediately. The automotive supply future is very uncertain and I'm not willing to roll the dice. Prime example: C8 Corvette
