Yeah that's true. I was kinda thinking the same thing might have happened. Although I did get a new car keyed terribly back in the 80s. I saw some guys looking at it when I was checking out, but they were gone before I got out to the car. Oh well, still sucks
Whoever did it intentional or not, karma is a bish. They should've done the right thing if it was not intentional and left their info with you if it was an accident. So sorry to see this J
Thanks Man. Yeah it's just a bummer, we all know how rare and how hard these cars are to acquire. I just hate having something like this happen, will drive me crazy till I get it fixed
I'm sure it's possible, just looks like a gouge from right to left. And it's on the upper half of the mirror. But as we all know, it could have came from the road.

Yeah last time I seen a scratch like this there were multiple on my white challenger on the same general area of the mirror in your pic but it looked like it happened after a drive thru car wash back then
Yeah I can see where that might happen. I'm the only one that has ever washed it besides the dealer. And I haven't taken it thru any drive thru car washes and probably never will. I'm usually not overly protective of my vehicles, but I am with this one

That's pretty cool! I bet we would be surprised to see how many people check these cars out when there sitting alone in the parking lot. I know when I see a cool car, I always go check it out!

Oh my goodness, I am so sorry to see that. As you may know, I park way out too. I try to keep an eye on my car at all times but it's not always possible. I cannot believe whether intentional or not that they wouldn't leave a note if it was an accident. You would have known if something flew up and hit your mirror, it would have been loud!
Yes I always park as far away as I can and try to sit where I can keep an eye on it, I even get up during a meal and look out to check on it occasionally. (Don't judge me) but yeah I think I would have heard something hit it on the road. But at least it's nothing major, just one of those things I suppose
