What is the first thing you look at/for when pulling up next to another performance car? Be it Mustang, Mopar, Chev. I always check the trim level, and see if I can get a handle on the demeanour of the driver. I have noticed the most white sunglasses, flat brim cocky chauds in Mustangs. Not to the level of lifted diesel trucks, but close......

I slyly slide the window down so I can hear it first before I get next to them. Then I determine if the driver looks like he is stupid enough to try to hole shot me to or not. If its a he and he looks competitive, I might smile extra bright and throw him off track just to be sure I get the launch on him. LOL :D Definitely love to hear other muscle car exhausts though from there its the lope of the cam and any other distinctions that tell me I may not be playing with a regular old muscle car. :) Those turbo cars are sneaky though. Can't always tell when they have a couple of those shoved under the hood.

I look at the exhaust if coming up on it then any markings. If it's coming at me the hood gets my attention. Tammie nailed the other stuff if you get that chance.

I had a set of funky headlights coming up behind me on the 407 (like a toll road but autobahn style in southern Ontario, Toronto area) ends up behind my ass doing about 130K, so I give her a shot (Charger btw) little tire spin but he knows. Well next thing there it is on my right side blind spot (white light tells him I know...cool feature btw) and he goes and I go, well this guy ends up in London Ontario before he stops for sure but he saw what his first Hellcat for sure and got the F out of Dodge. I'm a responsible guy in fairly heavy traffic and off at the next exit and I have been nailed by the aerial cops before so I know better but that was cool and so is the car.

The back of the car..
Tire/wheels
Exhaust
Then well, WTF is it? Always gives it away quickly.

Look at the driver...last. Got to look over their gold first.

I try to listen to see how it sounds. Does it bring the thunder. Funny thing is that I probably give others the impression I'm stuck up because I usually focused on driving and keeping NDI's from running me off the road so I don't look too much at other drivers except when I'm stopped.

We had a big eye contact contest last night. Myself and two of my friends (the ladies were separate in the Jeep, we drove the "man car") were in the Cat returning from dinner. We were driving like it was a Church trip on a non-divided four lane. A silver Acura or something like that cruises around us on the right, makes it easy for himself as it went from four to two lanes. We were talking no big deal, but the guy was comfy going around others, breaking the speed limit, being a passive aggressive jerk we all see. But he was not hurting anyone. We take a right onto another four lane. Oh damn, here is the guy at the stoplight. We pull the Cat up and go for max eye contact as he decided to check us and the car out closer, and we are laughing so hard, thinking what will he do now...

Race the Hellcat? Light turns green...maximum intimidation set in, he did not even move when it turned green! We slowly pulled away, laughing continued!
