Yep, oil catch can. Keeps oil out of the intake manifold, not stock but not an invasive mod by any means. I believe I have the same one if you want to google:
UPR Products 15-20 Dodge Hellcat Oil Catch Can 6.2L Plug N Play ™
You unscrew it (canister, not knob) to empty the oil it catches, definitely catches a noticeable amount. I usually just do it every oil change, but if it’s new to you I’d check to see if it’s empty.
As the poster above said, merit wise who knows if it actually keeps anything from being damaged, only time will tell. I’ve cleaned dirty intake manifolds when I’ve have them off before after like 150k miles and while they were really dirty they weren’t causing any issues. But if you leave it, it sure won’t cause any harm.
UPR Oil catch can, I have the same one on mine. Works great. Manufacturers don't put them on cars from the factory because they know most people won't remember to empty them. Lol. Just empty it when you change the oil and you'll be fine
