I’m looking to change out the springs this winter. I have been looking at getting the Demon Killer Springs, but I was wondering if there is a better option out there.
I have a stock Redeye WB with a diff brace and 17x10 Billet Specialties with MT Street R tires. I’m looking to improve my 60’ time, current PB is 1.53.

Add skinnies to the front. Whats your rear psi?
HHP, OE Demon Springs & Carlyle(?) Demon Killer springs are all the same. The 1320 springs have a different spring rate for the lighter car.

Maybe consider AAD arms and cradle lockout kit, too. Are you able to run the 1.53 consistently? Like if you make five runs, are they all 1.53-1.55 or so? I found that I could hit a good 60' about 1 out of 5 runs until I changed the arms and ran bigger tires, but if you have a really well-prepped track, then maybe you could go without them.

Personally, if I were considering putting drag springs on, I would do the AAD arms and BMR cradle lockout. But, again, kind of depends on how consistent the car is right now.

I might do springs, too, at some point, as it sounds like you don't give much up for daily driving and I am not a corner carver.

For a 392 would it be best hellcat springs or demon?
For a 392 I would use the 1320 springs.
My fear with the others would, without the weight of the blower. How high will the front be?

I put the HHP Demon springs on my 15 Hellcat and they didn’t help my 1/4 mile time at all.
What 60' were you running before the spring change?

What tire and mods?

I am just asking because I think on a really good track with a stock hellcat or a 2.85 pulley or so, that the springs may not make much, if any difference. The other question is if they helped your consistency at all. I found that prior to my suspension work and bigger tires, I could run the same the 60' but it was only like 1 in 4 runs or something, whereas now I can run that 60' say 3 out of 4 runs or most of the time.

I used MT ET Street Rs, mods where diff brace and the springs. I looked at some of my time slips and the springs may have helped my consistency a little.

That makes sense. I am just asking because my power with a 2.85 pulley is down because I race at 4300-6500 DA, so maybe with cars like ours, we don't need the springs. I always wonder about the consistency side of it. Someone posts that they ran a 1.50 60' or something, and then I always wonder how many runs that took, or if they are running that every time, etc.

Thank you for the information! I appreciate it.

I ran the HHP demon springs on my last Hellcat and was consistently cutting 1.3-1.4 60's, only other suspension upgrade was a TBA diff brace.

My new hellcat I put the BMR lockout, front and rear diff braces, speedlogix rear suspension arms. I will upgrade to the HHP springs again.
