New member here. I’m having issues with my 2018 SRT 392. The other day I was driving to the store, parked the car and and sat for a couple minutes then out of nowhere I get the message “service transmission continue in D, do not shift or turn engine off”. The car wouldn’t shift at all and eventually just died. Gear shift knob was flashing red and white. The screen also went back to the older Uconnect screen from 2015-2017 with blue and black Chrysler screen. All of the lights on dashboard and on the screen were on though. I get it towed to the dealer after jailing to jumpstart the car and they tell me it’s the battery so I get swapped out. I pick the car up and it’s doing the same thing again before I leave the lot. Any ever had this issue?

Even though the battery was replaced the symptoms point to a bad battery. This is a weird one. It’s acting like it cant remember all of it’s settings. Wonder if it’s a bad ecu although the odds of that are extremely low.

Dodge dealer had it diagnosed as a bad alternator and starter. Covered under warranty and now waiting on parts.
