Can anyone else attest that the 2019 year was fastest? Also hear a 2019 redeye was faster than a SS. Has anyone experienced this? I had a 19 and a 21 and it’s hard to tell. And now a ss in D1.

A lot of that depends on how it is optioned: more weight, (potentially) less quick. WB vs. NB less drag. Potentially. 3.09 rear-end more mechanical advantage. Potentially.

The 797hp vs 807hp debate is a factor because of raised rev limiter in the S/Ss and JBs. It does have an effect, but how much? Significant?

Programming between years/models: is there a difference? Might have a potential effect.

Mostly it comes down to driver skill and vehicle preparation (fuel, tires, setup, etc.) of the car in my opinion. There are lots of 11 second Demons out there due to inexperience and bloated options holding them back. There are also some low-10/high-9 second REs and S/Ss thanks to competent drivers.

Buy the one that makes you happy and enjoy it. Time is fleeting in this hobby and life. Don't worry about the spec sheet or stats.

Same options. 3.09’s no sunroof. Programming? I never got a chance to take my 19 to the track. Just felt a little quicker. What about how you break the car in?

Ever wonder how 2 of the same exact car can run so differently? I used to work for a major auto manufacturer in their powertrain dept. I've seen so many engines put together its mind numbing. But I've noticed big differences in castings for blocks, cranks, cams, heads etc. Some were rough castings & some were very smooth. I can only imagine the smoother the parts from factory the better. It could make the small differences, along with bearing clearances as well. They are all "in standard" but they still vary from engine to engine. Probably alot of little things along with tweaks in engine management programming can make differences in every car.
