All,

Just picked up a 22' Redeye NB. Just got past the 500mile break in and i'm ready to rock. What's everyone's thoughts on upgrading wheels and/or tires. I currently have the stock 5 spoke wheels with the 275s. I've read upgrading the tire to something stickier is all that is needed. Or.... should I upgrade wheels to 10s in front and 11.5 in back and throw some thick meaty tires on um.... I probably don't plan on drag racing - but never say never....

I have considered getting the lil devil fender flares but have read they'd look like sh*t with stock 275s.

Pick One***
1. Stock wheels with stickier tires to save cash
2. New wheels and meatier tires - no fender flares
3. New wheels and tires + lil devil fender flares

(if you say new wheels and tires -- best sizing combo??)

Thanks in advance

I’m interested in what people will say as well. Once my redeye nb arrives I’m looking at drag radial and 315s… Apperently its a snug fit or I might have to do slight modifications so I’d like to see what other nb are using for their radials and tires.

If you are looking for more grip on the street then I would pick up a pair of 20x11 replicas and some 305/35R20 Nitto NT555rII for the rear, much better grip than the stock setup and won't break the bank. I have had both 315/35 and 305/35 on the rear of my car and I prefer the look of the 305's, they don't poke out as far as the 315's.

I've seen a lot of pics and for me especially since I'll have the lil devil flares I dig the look of a little more meat so I got the 315s for the back to mount if HR5 11s. I'm coming from a WB scat pack so I miss my thick tires. I did snag the 555RIIs though !

Yeah the Lil devil flares will cover those tires no problem. I missed that you already ordered them, that's what happens when I skim over threads.

I might need to look at the 20×11 recommendation as well. I'd like a bit more bite and look of a slightly wider rear tire. I'm still on my factory set with my 2019.

I planned on it. You know of any issues with that?
A few posts mentioned the 2022 TPMS sensors are different than 2021 & earlier; mentioned aftermarket TPMS sensors not compatible with 2022 Hellcats. Seems best bet is to avoid trouble and re-use original TPMS sensors in new wheels. Good luck, you will have a great looking combo with the flares & 20x11s!
