Just picked up my Charger Widebody from Koons this past weekend. Once I got home I noticed the passenger side wheels had some “trailer transportation rash” on them. I contacted Craig @ Koons and they will reimburse me for the repair of the wheels. The issue is that while the dealer in my town is repairing the wheels my car will basically be sitting on blocks. Does anyone have any available to sell? Do you know of anyone wanting to get rid of some Welds or Drag Stars? Let me know what you have. Thank you.
Disclaimer: No blame is being placed on either party in regards to the scratched wheels. It was an oversight on both ends due to the busy holiday weekend at the dealership. I highly recommend Koons.

Are you serious? Sitting on blocks? So the dealer is doing this or what? Tire Rack/Discount Tire/Summit/Factory Repops/Jegs, etc.............
Well I can’t imagine my local dealer having a spare set laying around for me to use while they repair the wheels. I haven’t spoke with my local dealer at this time, just being proactive.

The dealer more than likely will sub it out to a mobile service. They will jack the car up and fix them in their trailer they pull behind (at least thats how they do it here). All the dealers here use the same company.

I rashed a couple wheels a while back, they came to my office and fixed them in an hour. I wouldnt monkey around with the dealer and loaner and all that crap, just get them fixed at your house/office.

That definitely does sound like best case scenario. As far as a loaner is concerned I jokingly said “no” above as my small town dealer won’t have an equivalent loaner to give out and I am definitely not leaving my Cat there for them to play with.

Are you stuck on the dealer fixing. Even in my area, Seattle, there are specialty places that fix rim damage. I got two of my rims fixed because of curb rash and it was only $150 a rim and they only had my car for a few hours. The looked like new.

Yes, Koons stated to take it to my local dealer or I would just take them to my local wheel guy. I am going to swing by tomorrow to inquire on their process.
