Hey everyone,

Just wondering at what point you have to re-tune the car after doing mods..

Im going to be getting Jokerz to do the rebuild of the supercharger with the port and polish and most likely the larger TB. Also, a CAI is going on as well. Is that something that would need to be tuned again or is the air flow gained by that not enough to warrant a tune?

Well, he should have a dyno, and check the HP right??????? He should also be able check the A/F ratios to make sure things are right. If he won't dyno tune, I wouldn't waste your money.

Im doing the rebuild because my supercharger is showing bearing noise. Jokerz ports and polishes anyways. I figure, while its off, do the TB...

I guess the question is do I HAVE to tune it with these mods...I cant find anything to say yes or no.

If the port job significantly improves airflow, tuning should be considered. Some TBs will bolt on and work fine, while others may require some tuning.
Are you planning to run a smaller pulley? I am not sure I've seen a ported/stock pulley'd blower in action. I think a pulley would optimize the porting results, and at that point a tune is a necessity.

At this time, I dont know if I will be doing the pulley.. Eventually, yes. I may not even do the TB.. Next year is when the build will be.

I was thinking the same thing. If the mods add air, then I'd think that fueling should be checked too.

Just my opinion though!
