Bought the ZL1 lifting pads for the pinch welds boy are they nice. I’ll lift the car by that but I assume I can then place a jackstand where I’m pointing below? I’ll use a block of wood on top As well. Is this the right spot?

Yes, and you can buy these to make it easier. I got the full set, much nicer having the pucks on the front, and the rear pucks replace the factory pucks with a stronger/higher quality part.

FYI, when you jack using that point it usually lifts the entire side of the car front and rear so be aware of how it's balanced and be sure wheels are chalked appropriately since it will usually shift forward/back. I usually jack there and put my stand under the pinch weld adapter so that balance is rear of the stand--so as the weight shifts from the jack to the stand the rear sets back down.

Which one did you get? I bought the one from ZL1 addons and when I went to install it I noticed they sent me like 15 riveted nuts which is not what they show/recommend in their YouTube video install for Challenger… I bought them back in last November during their BF sale… I reached out to them recently to see if they can help/explain…

Let me know how it goes for you!

Cheers

About half way done. No problems for me all the hardware they supplied works fine. Just hot as balls here working in 100 degree weather on my driveway!

Well, fun fact, they just called me after I sent them pictures of the splitter and HW, so it turns out they sent me the wrong splitter and HW…

On the bright side they asked me to send them back the wrong splitter and once they get the correct one manufactured they’ll send it to me free of charge!

P.S: make sure you drink plenty of water under that weather! Last weekend was washing my car and it was also hot as hell and almost lost consciousness due to dehydration!
