MOPAR 68427796AA is for the Scat Pac unit.
The one you list is the Redeye unit .

All Modern Mopars published a tech article for the 2.62 to 3.09 swap but do not list P/N. I do not have the link, I found it in another thread, I have a pdf though.

I see no results for 6842779AA.
It looks like these mopardiscountwebsites.com are dealers selling on line cheaper than over the counter. Ordered my 3.90 from a place 40 min away so I saved on shipping. I went to pick it up and it was the dealer’s parts dept. If I simply went the counter to buy it, it would have been $500 more. In most cases shipping is not an issue as long as you save on sales tax which is questionable these days. In my case, we don’t have sales tax and I am cheap, so local pick-up is preferred.

Sounds like a great deal, just verifiy the fit.
Careful with the CV boots, don't nick them on the control arm, also, make sure you put the axle in straight do you don't nick the seal. Here is my thread on the 3.90:

I do more SC than anything, been doing it since it was long before it was sanctioned, mostly Prod and ISR. I'm old and getting slower so mostly PCCO and RFRO now, made M in both, but now that it is popular the young guys are kicking my butt. Find primers anywhere lately?

Just Ordered a 3.90 for the M6. Self Install or Dealer?
Ok, just took the plunge and ordered the 3.90. Found a website selling it for $703, and they are less than an hour drive so I can avoid shipping and do local pick up. (No sales tax here.) So, it seems like short money and going to give it a try. Seems like a pretty straight forward install...
