Ordered a 2017 Charger Hellcat in destroyer Grey with the black carbon stripes on February 16th. Call me impatient but we are in April now and the car still hasnt even started being built yet. This is also the first car ive ever ordered too, so is this a normal amount of time for these kind of cars? The last update I found out yesterday was that the car was in D1. Have had nothing but great customer service with Dodge, Just want to have the cat come already lol

Have you asked resume speed for updates. He is the man for that.

Also pm Brampton builder to sign your car.
I did PM him last night. I sent him my VIN this morning and just waiting to hear back from him. I will PM the builder to have him definitely sign the car, badass little touch.

They're probably backed up fixing the SC issues and rolling that out. Probably slowing down production. Just saying lol

At least when I go out to drive today, I now get to hear the car whining. ;)

But, you will get that soon too. And trust me, it doesn't matter how long you waited, once you get to that point, you don't whine about much.

Whining? No more like your reply sounded like whining. My thread was a question lmfao.

You understand that many people waited for a very very long time, much longer than what you're asking about, right?

The point is that you are still on the very short side of waiting, so yes, it's completely normal and you might be waiting some more...

(Although things are better than they were, but still, be sensitive to those who waited for a year or longer...)

Perhaps it's something to do with the Charger production line/capacity. I ordered my Challenger HC on March 12th, and it should arrive at my dealer this coming Monday or Tuesday. That's exactly one month from order to dealer delivery...pretty amazing, if you ask me!

Sure is fast! It's still waiting at the local railyard, though, waiting for a truck to come and bring it to the dealer. I offered to go pick it up myself, but they didn't like my idea.

I really wasn't expecting it this soon; in fact, I was kinda hoping it would take a little longer. That way, I'd have a better idea what's happening for 2018, and there might still be time to back out of the deal (only put $500 down on it), in case something blew me away for 2018. But other than the widebody really catching my attention (with not much additional upcharge), or a different color that I can't live without, I can't see wanting to back out of the deal.
