After my car being delivered overnight before Christmas Eve and my dealer being closed on Christmas Eve, the 2 days of suffering ended this morning when I showed up at the dealer. The first time I fired up the car in the service bay before putting it on the lift to begin PDI with the tech, the sound of the exhaust sent chills down my spine.

You can watch every video out there, but they do ZERO justice for the insane sound this car makes. You just have to experience it in person.

It took almost 6 months to the day from the time I put down my deposit in July to taking delivery today. Anyone who hasn't taken delivery yet and is waiting, DO NOT BAIL, IT IS WORTH IT, TRUST ME! This car is amazing, great job SRT!

Enjoy the attached pics. :D

My B5's hood was painted flat black. I'll be wrapping the Hellcat's hood flat black, probably around Spring time when it warms up (today was in the 50s which was nice). The only option I have is the A8 transmission. :)

Awesome and good luck with the Cat. Tsc, you don't no how many times I've thought about bailing on this car. Then I read another post like yours. And figure I'll wait it out. My only concern it seems everyone praising the car is brand loyal. I haven't had a Mopar since 1977. I usually go for the best bang for the buck. Hopefully the Hellcat is it!

I've had US cars (Ford, Cadillac, Dodge, Mercury) and foreign cars (Honda, Lexus, Nissan, Volkswagen), no brand loyalty here -- I respect nice cars. Dodge is just hitting it out of the freaking park right now. :D

There is nothing out there that will offer the sound, power, interior, comfort and driveability (at low or high speeds) for 60k with a warranty, period.

Too bad dealers are at $80K for a $60K car which kinda defeats the purpose.

I agree whole heartedly tsc! BTW, great looking car; in fact I haven't seen a color yet that detracts from the design of this car. Enjoy it to the max!

I agree, I hate dealers who mark up. We've been extremely lucky to get #1 spot for both Challenger and Charger, with no markup at all. Hell, while waiting around at the dealer I got them to throw in a Hellcat hat and Hellcat polo they had in stock at the parts area. I figured its the least they could do after plopping down $62,985. :)

tsc, Your neighbors are going to love you when you start both of them beast early in the morning..lol
Yeah, late at night, people are going to be woken up, no way around it. Last night I dropped the wife off at home and she told me this morning that she could hear me after I left the neighborhood and heard me idling at the first stoplight outside of the neighborhood. They're used to our loud cars I'm sure, otherwise they'll continue to hate us. :D

Dodge Viper, Plymouth Prowler, Chrysler PT Cruiser, Chrysler Crossfire, Dodge Challenger..... Great looking cars that retain their value extremely well.

Ummm, PT cruiser does not retain it value, those car are throw away cars...Sorry,,, the others are great cars..
True enough, but they are great looking cars. They were in huge demand when they first came out, and Chevrolet copied it with the HHR. Chevy must have liked them too.
