Maybe they want enough to hit the street all at once so the first few cars don't get flipped on eBay for 20K or more over MSRP. That would piss off a few dealers that they were pressuring not to do this. Maybe there is so much sand tar coming by rail out of Canada that they don't want to ship anything with the skimpy tonnage of a rail car full of Hellcats and the locomotives are pulling all the weight they can handle. Maybe they are waiting for the spare belt, hose, tire, oil filter, air filter and battery supply to catch up? Maybe they are giving the first 1,000 buyers a free Hellcat logo toaster with each purchase?

Anything sems possible.

Because the Corvette Dude is really an undercover spy for SRT and reported to them that I plan on kicking his sorry butt when I get my car? Because I cannot get enough of "When are you gonna get your car?", Maybe it is to make sure that everything is ready to go and the car doesn't have any defects? Some sniveling little company in Cali is whining because they used the Hellcat name on something first? I am going with the first one...

I wish I knew if mine made it over the border or not. My dealer can't get any information about where my car is. I am gonna call SRT and bug them. I haven't for like week. They miss me. LOL

All of you that have yours built already better hope that's not the case since from what I've seen they've only built a little over 300 of them! Mine is supposed to be built next week so I'm hoping they start shipping them out NOW!

Not sure why...some think so they all ship at the same time once all the first 400 are done...but that doesn't make much sense...I'm in Texas so mine won't get to me at the same time that someone in Michigan gets their order anyway...

I called SRT this morning to confirm what my sales rep told me last week which is that my hellcat is in Sterling Heights, Michigan chillin. Find out where yours is?

Okay, I got Veronica so, it has to be accurate. She said that the reason my car has been sitting for so long is probably because they need to coordinate a load to head West on the train. It at least has a new ship date set for November 4. She gave me her extension so I can call her to verify it has been shipped on that date. I guess I will maintain some composure and dignity until that date comes and see if it really does get shipped.

If that pic is in Michigan, I just found out that my Hellcat did break over the border and has been sitting in Michigan. One of those sexy red ones is probably mine!!
