Hello I am working on swapping a OEM WB package on my 2018 narrow body
Will the 305s fit on the back and run fine without cutting the rear quarter panel?
I have no issue cutting the quarter I just wanted to ask if it’s needed before I do

Don’t the widebody cars also have different fenders for the mounting of the flares?

Yes they have holes punched in the fenders already from factory to have the plastic flares installed through the metal...same on charger fwiw

I think this picture might answer your question. Look at how the quarter panel is on that widebody.

There’s different inner fenders both front and back on the widebody. I have the OEM Widebody inner fenders from when I was gonna build a widebody, still un used with tags from the dealership

No chance the 305 on a standard widebody wheel will fit without destroying your fender when you run over a penny on the road.

I would say if they don’t fit now adding flares aren’t going to make a difference

Widebody wheels, no way but standard body wheels will, along with 315's.

Yeah there's no other way. The WB has a 3.5" wider track and no way to get that other than moving the wheels out past the fenders.

Otherwise you'd have to compromise on track width and with those big flares still out there, it just wouldn't look right. Sort of like when a dealer installs flares on a pickup but leaves the wheels and tires alone, it just doesn't look right.

Can you give inside tip on how to fabricate the wholes for the rear quarter flares .

I’m running 305/35/20 on 20x11up front and 335 /30/20s on 20x12 in the rear no rubbing issues and as u can see plenty of clearance

Yeah those stick out way too far. Looks like those pavement princess trucks with 12 inch wide wheels with only 1 inch under the body.
