Has anyone had their flares wrapped clear? If all goes through I will definitely be having the front Xpel wrapped but was thinking of the flares. Do the flares come off reasonably easy to be able to tuck the Xpel under them?

I don't think any take off the flares. My Xpel installer rolled the film under the edges everywhere else.

To answer your question on the flares though, removal is not easy and you'd need a body shop to do it. I wouldn't trust Ricky B at Tint-o-World to try and remove them. It's more involved than 3M tape as there's a bracket involved.

What type of cost should I expect doing the front area hood and flares? Planning on doing the hood satin black.
I paid $450 for the front bumper up to the hood and another $200 for all of the flares if I remember correctly. Nothing on the hood.

I paid $2700 for paint correction, front bumper, all flares about 20" back on the front fenders and hood, lower 8" of the doors, mirrors, door pockets, rear quarters, A-pillars, and above the windshield to the sunroof.

Was the paint correction on a new car? What type and how severe where the flaws? Did that include ceramic coating?

I paid about 5 grand for paint correction, Xpel on the entire front end, A pillars, first 8 inches of roof line, rockers and flares (about 8 inches on the flares) and a 3 year ceramic coat. I took the car back this to have flares rewarded to cover the entire flare since I was getting rock chips above the original flare wrap. I paid another 500 bucks to have the rock chips repaired and the flares wrapped. They did not have to remove the flares to do the wrap.

It was on a new car. Single stage correction is all it needed. I didn't do ceramic coating. There wasn't anything wrong with the paint that I noticed.
