Hey guys, I have a 16 hellcat challenger. I want wider tires on the rear. So I’m trying to figure out how to achieve that. If I got new wheels at 20x10.5 can I fit a 305 tire without rubbing? Or would I need a small spacer. Second question is if I want 305s would I need 20x11 wheels. If I do need a 20x11 wheel, would that fit? Last question is, could I put a 305/35/20 tire instead of a 305/40/20 (asking because I want pilot sport 4s on the car and they don’t make them in 305/40/20 only 35. Thanks.

What offset do you have? My 11”x20” wheels have a +22mm offset and fit fine with 305/35 tires. No pooch out beyond the fender either. Keep in mind your speedo may now be off a bit though.

The wheels I was looking at were 22mm offset, I read guys that went with 25mm had problems. The last thing I want to figure out is if I should go 20x10.5 or 20x11, as you said you have 20x11 without any rubbing, I wanna go with the 305 PS4S, which have a wheel width of 11 inches so I guess the 20x11 make sense. I’m just afraid of rubbing. Guess I wont know exactly until I try.

The 11” set me up for 315’s but I chickened out and went 305’s to be safe. 305’s are a nice fit on 11" IMO. The 315’s were only a quarter inch wider anyway. I’m lowered so did a Bwoody kit to get the camber dialed in and still no clearance problems.
