Hi all, new to the forum. I have a 2016 Challenger Hellcat and I found a hood and airbox off of a 2020 Hellcat. The Direct Connection catalog mentions that the newer airbox will fit models with electric steering. Has anyone ever tried to fit the new airbox into a 2016 and had it fit? Obviously the point would be to have the forced air actually work and not just for looks. Thanks!

The 2016 cars have a mass air sensor. The newer cars do not after 2018 I believe. Not to mention, it probably will not clear the power steering revivor.

Tagging GreenMachine as he's the only person I know that has swapped the older hood to the newer one. I also believe he changed his airbox to seal to the hood. I just don't recall if it was the OEM box or an aftermarket one that he went with.
