I ordered a pair of Cooper 305/35-20s to put on my factory Hellcat rear wheels. They arrived today and WOW they look absolutely huge compared to the 275s!

You guys sure these things will fit??

LOL I'll have to stop replying right Tammie
no I am interested in the larger tire sizes and wonder why there was talk of a gentleman's club in the thread and asked what is the relation to the topic?
not a good idea to mention Tammie and gentleman's club in the same post.o_O

NT55R's
A couple people on the board had 305s on factory wheels. One said no figment issues, the other said they used a heat gun to slightly modify the inner quarter liner.

Guess I'll find out...if I can find a place to install them. Maybe Target. ;)
Any news? Can't the Dodge dealer do it?

It took some real tough conversation, but, try your local Discount Tire. Our store got exec VP approval today to mount Nitto 305's on the stock rears. I believe they are going to attempt to spread the word in their company to approve the work. Nitto needs to footnote their fitment chart to allow the mount on the 9.5" wheels or stop sending out free tires to guys with 9.5" wheels and getting NHRA Certifications on the combo.

Doubt the dealership will do it either.

Cash I'd mount anything as long as it wasn't unsafe
Depends on the dealer. Never had a problem with big meats, er tires getting mounted at the dealership.
Just to wrap up this thread...

I got the tires mounted at my delaership - no issues. The tires on the other hand really suck. Traction is terrible. Much less than the factory summer tires, even in the bigger size.
Got any pics?

You used the stock rims and no rubbing on launch or cornering? They really look a lot nicer than the stock skinny's.
The tires rub ever so slightly on cornering, but the plastic liner is so thin and light that it's not causing any damage whatsoever. Thre are two easy fixes for this since there's lots of room behind the liner: 1) use a heat gun to reshape the plastic 2) drive a sheet metal screw through the liner to pull it away. Either one will work fine and not be noticable at all.

I wouldn't be concerned about rubbing with 305s. I may end up going with stock sized DRs in my search for traction since brands and sizes available are limited, but I like the look of the wider tires.

Unfortunately no pics available that show much.
