No regrets here. Hood wrapped about 1 month ago. I just clean it with a mixture of Ethyl Alcohol / distilled water in a spray bottle and a microfiber towell. Mine is matte black rather than satin black, but I doubt that it makes much difference. Eazy - peazy!

Or you could even consider buying the mopar shaker hood($1390...I think) like the one featured in fast furious 7. Just paint it or even wrap it in satin/ matte black... as per personal preference. I'm guessing this is for your sublime scat pack. You could make the scat even more versatile by adding the shaker feature(in black)

Awesome look and you can still hold on to the original green hood as a spare for later and keep switching b/w both.

Do it. I just mean it's a ***** to keep clean because 1) rain, 2) pollen and 3) tsc is a garage hog.

I pick up my car tomorrow and having my hood wrapped very soon after. My buddy who owns the graphic company I use has had his whole car wrapped for a few years with no ill effects.
He has a camouflage pattern matte green car with teeth near the front fenders like an ol bomber plane.
I will try and find a pic.
The 3M vynl is good for 8 yrs if the car is garage kept you can expect longer.
I see it as a win win. So many custom possibilities and easily removable.
No where near as difficult to care for as the OE black hoods.

depends on the quality of the material.
my factory black hood is a PITA
I have black racing strips on my GT500 ( there are satin black ) not one problem washing that car
so if the hood wrap is similar material should be pretty easy to maintain. I make sure to dry the stripes part of the car along with the glass first. AND always wash in the shade or inside my garage.

I'm waiting for someone to replicate that famous AAR race car that Dan Gurney raced with graphics. I think the hellcat would look killer done up as a tribute with white powdercoated rims,,,, come on you guys with black cars........
