..wonder how long it will be before we see the 1st wrecked or totaled Hellcat?
I say within 30 days of release...
Funny I was talkin to my rep yesterday he said to be careful of these powerful hellcats because he has seen Viper owners wreck within a few days of owning their new ride and some have had accidents within seconds of acceleration.

I give it 3 week tops...and its gonna come out of Florida or a warm climate area.

Most will not know how to handle the power and play around.. Curbing these cars left and right like many vipers have experienced. Lucky if you can find an older viper not curbed winner winner chicken dinner.
Big key is tire inspection's almost monthly to avoid any issues. Your gonna whittle tires like no tomorrow with this thing not even trying mark my words, a good walk around will be worth its weight in gold from time to time. Oem tires always stink p zeros or not as this car needs more meat on the rears asap. I personally will burn off these stocker tires very quickly so to find an alternative. Should have a 295-315- 35/ 20 on the car for better grip but that will be for us to retro.
One tip: Never get on it while cornering in this car especially leaving a light and turning the back end will come around in dry conditions too.. Fast!
Next thing you know your doing a 180 and facing oncoming traffic spilling your coffee all over yourself.
Some will turn off the esp and try this and learn the hard way..

I give it 3 weeks hope I'm wrong for sure.
See a guy named Hammer at the SRT experience in the spring you'll love the training etc ..
The SRT experience schedule for 2015 pops in January so register asap.

Florida roads are a grid system !!
Best place to drive a hellcat would be florida , all roads are straight !! That's what hellcat was made for
I get that I lived there miss Tampa really I'm talking about grand standing at a stop light or after a car show:)
Seen many a car roached this way.

I bet some rich kid will get one for his 16th birthday and it will end up rolled on the side of the road within a few weeks. I have seen it way too many times. Parents buy cars for their kids that they have no idea how to handle the power and have no respect for the cars.

I am 100% in agreement. I already told my daughter she can't even think about food or drink in my car!!;)
I have a strict policy against that in my CURRENT Challenger too. But, I took my girlfriend out for her bday one night and we had some leftover cake that the restaurant wrapped in aluminum foil. On the way home, she had a craving for some McDonald's fries so I stopped and got her some. SOMEHOW, she mistook the aluminum foil for a paper bag and I ended up with chocolate cake on my red/slate leather seat! I was NOT a happy man that night!

OMG! Did you keep the girl? I am thinking I would have kicked a guy out if he did that and make his butt and cake walk home. Of course, you can't make the girl walk home, but that is some serious shizzy there! My daughter spilled on my seat and I made her scrub it. I have to keep her though, kinda a rule!!LOL;)

Tammie you are tough! That is exactly why I wanted the Laguna over the ultra suede. If someone happens to sneak something past me or just an easy clean of the pee on the seats! :D:D
LOL! I might have to get covers for the seats when I take friends for a ride. I already told my trainer that if I have to do lunges and hurkees (whatever you call the push ups from Hell) and all the other torture techniques, then he has to ride with me when I go to the track!;)

Haha yeah I kept her. She's a real good girl but I told her if that happened in my Hellcat...
