Shiny furry things???? = arh long tube
We can prolly work something out
Streetable is a subjective term lol. But everyone I’ve talked to says that’s the beautiful thing about the ZF. “Driving around town it doesn’t feel like the stall is anywheres near as high as it is”. Doesn’t mean driving stop n go won’t create more heat than oem, cuz it will. I don’t know what you’ve driven in the past but a 4000 or even a 3600 stall used to make a lot of heat really quick. These don’t apparently : )
And will lock up on highway. Highway is not a issue.
The only way to really match the stall to the cam is to look at the duration at 020 and at .100 lift (on both cams, oem and what you have now) and do the math. You subtract the 100 number out of the 20 number and see what you get. That’s the only way to compare really. It’s more about ‘rate’ of lift than advertised duration or duration at 050. Of course it all matters (where the piston is when each valve starts to open and where it is right when it closes) but the rate of lift is the FIRST most important thing I look at and it’s not on a cam card you either have to check it yourself or talk to whoever ground the cam
That being said (sorry was so much) what I need in a converter is more dependent on the application AND the gear. Your car will seem like it has less stall than similar car with taller gear (262). I know your car is supercharged but whatcha want? Street strip? Just street?
