And when a guy PM’s you and say they “know a guy” that has the part you need and gives you an email address to contact DON’T TRUST IT.

Look at the guy’s profile and you’ll see they have no posts or they just joined.

Yep just got scammed like that. I just totally had a brain fart. I blame only myself and was more upset at myself than I was at losing the $75.

Yep, the tough part is that they are VERY knowledgeable now.
They speak the lingo and know correct details about the parts.
It used to be easy to spot the bad guys…. Not anymore (unfortunately)!

Even the big collectors like the Mopar5150 guys get scammed these days.
