So I dropped my car directly from the dealer to the detail shop for cermic and PPF. I left the banana on I didn’t think about removing it for a 10 min drive.

get the car back banana is still on and I think they ceramic coated it! LOL. I’ll go see if it beads after this coat cures.

I hope your spoiler looks okay after taking those shipping protectors off. I thought the ceramic was only for the painted surfaces? I could very well be wrong.

Both my 17 Challenger Hellcat and 22 Challenger Hellcat Redeye had them (bananas) on at the dealership when I took delivery. I wouldn't drive either until they took them off. I'm amazed at how many of these I see fixed to the spoiler's of cars on the road here in Tampa.

my dealer didn’t even know what the brake air deflector bag was and asked me. Lol
I’ll put them on first oil change.

my dealer is clueless. I even told them to not wash my car. They said OK. Guy tells me later we just hosed it off and wiped it down. Which is 20x as bad and ot had dealer installed swirls. Wow.

I see them everywhere with them still on. Makes no damn sense at all. One guy around here has had his Scat Pack for 3 years and still has them on. If Dodge had meant them for them to stay on the car, they wouldn't have made them yellow or pink.

Ive never seen something so minor cause such a stir about a car. Who decided it was uncool to have one? Theres probably been hundreds of threads on here and the other challenger forums about this. Why does it bother you what someone else has on there car?? Sorry but taking off a yellow strip on your spoiler doesnt make you cooler or more of a car guy. Personaly i think they look ok on a black or F8 car but dont like them on blue or red or white. But thats me. But to belittle someone that still has it or think your superior because you dont is just plain silly. Its his car not mine. Who am i to judge. Heck if i bought a new one id probably leave it on just because it gets under the skin of so many of you kids.

Because it was never designed to stay on the car. No different than the plastic film on your radio display, or the tag on your leather seats. It's just dumb. Reminds me of the generation that thought it was cool to wear the price tags on their new basketball shoes.
