This just warms my heart that his dream is getting closer.
All you said about Josh is true. My phone rang late yesterday afternoon and it was Josh back at the shop working. He was excited to set those two records for sure. Now I am excited that my Whipple will be ordered today!!
Linda, I cannot wait until Top Cat's dream comes true and further you are behind the wheel of TC. Keeping those memories alive!!

Awesome write-up. It brought tears to my eyes with the feelings you put into your experience with Josh and Top Cat's goal. Congratulations to everyone! I'm always impressed by hard work and those who don't give up. Thank you for sharing. Very cool!Thanks to Bigklieb34!!!!
Kate my daughter and I met Josh @ his HHP shop early yesterday morning. I was excited, as I knew we would be again chipping away at the ET toward the Top Cat's goal!
But I was worried because, the weather forecast called for scattered showers and some drops sprinkled on my windshield on the drive down from Pa to DE.
It was going to be a busy day for Josh as he was, also testing out another customer's car + Kate and I had ours going too. So we finished loading up the trailers and off to Cecil County Dragway. The track was very busy as the crowd was out for T&T.
Not surprising many of Josh's other customers were also there.
Josh somehow keeps up with all the questions and is helpful to the customers, hiding his tenseness wanting to succeed with my husbands goal.
John knew the goal he wanted Josh to achieve would not be easy because, he knew The Tuner's job would be KEY and he also knew that would put a lot of pressure on Josh! I know Top Cat didn't care because, he had confidence in Josh and knew he would try his best.
Top Cat also left instruction for when a limit is found but, really hoping not until after the 8.xx.
Me as the person who had the first R&D car tuned for Diablo........ I had seen first hand how hard Josh was working on the tuning tables. I had never seen him with out his lap top Josh was searching ways, to find out how to make the Hell Cat's go Fassssster!!
Sometimes John or I would drive Josh to the track, so he could continue working on his LT with Tunes.
During the out of town races, Josh would be in the lobby with all of us after a day of racing.
But you would find him in a chair working on his Lap Top! I just don't think some people realize how hard Josh works. And aside from tuning there is really so much more he does at his shop!
If you listen to Top Cat's mighty Challenger go down the track, you can hear how much better it sounds? That has a lot to with some new find in the Tuning Tables.

Wait till Josh and HHP see what else is left in the Demon! TCs car went fasster than the Drag Pak car at the Gators!!!
Yes, we are certainly getting close. Josh is awesome and doing a Fantastic Job!
My Charger has had a few things changed that I am working on getting use to. I only made 2 passes, that were OK . I was more excited to be watching Josh Take "Top Cat " down the 1/4 mile.
My daughter Kate was there too she can be seen right behind Josh in our 2010 Furious Fuchsia Challenger. She is really good bracket racer and wants to be ready for Challengerfest 8.

Those of us who race at Cecil are at a lucky track. BigKlieb34 is a young man with a lot of talent with his videos
There is also Zlumlord he loves Mopar and he was there when I was stock and posted up a video of my Charger on Yellow Bullet and they liked it. Tuff crowd there!
You will have to come down and join in for T&T @ Cecil sometime.

That's Awesome Linda, but I gotta say I'm like a 2 year old kid when I start hearing the bes cam and ported this and that!!! Lol!!!

As a customer of many who works with HHP and the R&D "Top Cat " is not the only Hell cat that has tested the Cam, but we do have parts installed to continue the goal John wanted us to. Everything that is being done already had John's approval and some things he ordered last summer.BES is just a Great Company all around. If we find the limit with the Hell Cat short block I will be having a BES engine Built for Top Cat and then I think we will have a new project to start
So now you Know the Cam is track proven and is doing it job!

Josh's Tuning work is Amazing and you are right how he shares his Best Tunes with his Customers!
You know as he was learning the tuning tables and gaining knowledge the Fastest Title went around between several customers.
Josh would learn something on this car and then apply it to that car and all the cars had his best tunes just like you say.
Sometimes and even Top Cat did this .....Customers wanted certain parts installed and that could be a game changer.
That's Right ........"Oh yes he can drive too"
John and I were very proud to sign off on Josh's Super Comp License and in return Josh was very honored for my Husband to do so!!!

The weather forecast of scattered showers had me worried. it didn't help when some rain drops sprinkled on my windshield on the drive down from Pa to DE.
Upon arriving to HHP I knew it was going to be a busy day for Josh with 4 cars.
He had a customer meeting him at the track for testing of his car + Kate and I had our cars going too. We finished loading up the trailers and off we went to Cecil County Dragway.
The track was already very busy, as the crowd was out early for T&T.
It's always great to see lots of HHP customers in the Pits. All friends having some racing fun together
I just don't know how Josh does it! He somehow keeps up with all the questions from everyone that comes into our Pit and is helpful to his customers who are there for T&T. But on his mind is "Top Cat" I watch and know he is hiding all his tenseness as he is thinking about wanting to succeed with my husbands goal!
John knew the goal he wanted for Josh to achieve would not be that easy to do. Because he knew The Tuner's job would be KEY to make it happen.
John pushed Josh and knew it would put a lot of pressure on him! The challenge was between the 2 and they both knew to "Stay the Course"
This is what is exciting to me to finish the project and meet the goal !!!!
We are hoping to finish this round as Top Cat wanted.
In case a limit had been found, well my husband gave Josh and I instructions on what he wanted done.

I had never seen Josh with out his lap top and watched him searching ways to find out how to make the Hell Cat's go Fassssster!!
Those 2 to 3 xs a week "Our Date Nights"

During the out of town MSHS races you could find Josh in the hotel lobby with all of us after a day of racing. And usually found in a chair still working the key board on his laptop making sure he kept up with his customers and his schedule.
