I have had the Tazer for a while, but just got the 3 Aux buttons for the steering wheel. I can’t seem to get the Tazer to ID them and go into program button mode. Any advice?
that is correct, my car was made 10/14 and the module may not have had the programming to send a signal on the bus, i sold the buttons to a friend and ordered the other ones from zautomotive. So you had to get a whole new module for it and then the aux buttons won’t fit now?
Its a possibility, when I was monitoring the traffic on the bus i didnt see anything appear message wise when the buttons were pressedI wonder if the Aux buttons on a 15 are not even wired or live
They are active under the plastic fake buttons and with any ZAUTOMOTIVE part can be programmed as you like....found Speedy's video about programming helpful.I wonder if the Aux buttons on a 15 are not even wired or live
Ive been down this road, I highly suggest a new module. Thats the only way I could get mune to work. Alternatively if you can get a rubber pad that would suffice (try using a piece of heat shrink over the hole) maybe the button could trigger. But for me, a new module was path of least resistance.View attachment 588446
It looks like mine doesn’t have the little rubber buttons in it. I am trying to figure out which points need to connect to get the button to react
