I have had the Tazer for a while, but just got the 3 Aux buttons for the steering wheel. I can’t seem to get the Tazer to ID them and go into program button mode. Any advice?

So you had to get a whole new module for it and then the aux buttons won’t fit now?

I wonder if the Aux buttons on a 15 are not even wired or live

that is correct, my car was made 10/14 and the module may not have had the programming to send a signal on the bus, i sold the buttons to a friend and ordered the other ones from zautomotive.

Its a possibility, when I was monitoring the traffic on the bus i didnt see anything appear message wise when the buttons were pressed

It looks like mine doesn’t have the little rubber buttons in it. I am trying to figure out which points need to connect to get the button to react

Ive been down this road, I highly suggest a new module. Thats the only way I could get mune to work. Alternatively if you can get a rubber pad that would suffice (try using a piece of heat shrink over the hole) maybe the button could trigger. But for me, a new module was path of least resistance.

The buttons work even without the cover....press the center terminal and it will actuate the sensor under it.....just won't look smooth but will work

I tried that, it didn’t react to anything. I tried grounding out the 2 copper plates under each of and nothing.
