I was able to get the front set of the rock guards on no problem, but it doesn't seem like there is space between the trim for the clips on the back to slide in. I've put enough pressure that I'm worried I'll pop the side of the back bumper out.

Has anyone had similar issues with the ZL1 rockguards for the widebody?

You have to push them on with some force. Just try harder. Maybe use a tool like the back of a screwdriver so it doesn’t hurt your hand?

also make sure they are aligned properly. The hole on tje bottom of the flap has to be aligned with the gray trim piece.

Good tips, was using the back of a tool handle but maybe I'll find something a bit more solid and double check the line-up

On my left rear, it was a b*itch. I wrapped a piece of a shop rag around the tip of a flat slot head of a small screwdriver to open up a small gap so a clip would slide in. Just take your time.
Thanks! Was going to take another run at it soon and it was the left I tried first, reassuring to know that was difficult for you as well.

I was speaking with ZL1 customer service yesterday about some deluxe guards I'd bought last year and never used. Just wanted to check that they hadn't changed anything.
The gentleman mentioned that the 22 widebody cats had the fender attachment in the wheel well slightly altered and that it was now necessary in some cases to pry a bit where the wheel well liner meets the fender (at least I think that's what he said). Mentioned some folks using a screw diver/flat blade tool to get a little bit of separation between the liner/fender so the clip could get in.

That was my prob too.
I ended up taking wheels off and made it much simpler to get at those clips.

I bought this kit from Amazon a couple months ago to remove the push pins for the oil cooler cover. For the first oil change. Try the orange plastic pry tools to pry between the fender and fender well. And yea, removing the wheel gives a lot more room too obviously

I did the same too.

Also my ZL1 side skirts arrived yesterday. Here’s a vid of a WB scat pack challenger. The skirts and installation looks the same as a Hellcat.

Edit: That’s one of the cleanest Challengers I’ve ever seen. Lol. The underneath especially.
