I got my ZL1 side skirts and rock guards a couple days ago and went to install them tonight. When I opened the box I was surprised that no instructions were included and also no mounting hardware for the sideskirts, I went to the website and found the sideskirt install video, and its no big deal to do it. Only thing is I wasn't given the mounting tabs that go thru the skirt to mount to the pinch welds on the car. Not here to bash ZL1, I will be calling them tomorrow so they can make it right, but was curious if this has happened to anyone else or am I just the lucky one.

I had the body kit on my previous HC RE and now on the 2021 SS. I agree that the hardware for the side skirts loosen up over time so I've gotten into the habit of tightening them every few weeks just to be safe. If you use Loctite and they somehow slip down a little, it would make it hard to push them up and retighten I would think....

I have the side skirts waiting here for my car to show up. One question...they seem fairly thin. Do you have any issues with them deforming in direct sun? I know they have slip connections but I could still see them warping.

Havent noticed it yet but I park in my garage at night and mostly in a garage if I take it to work. But the times it's been in parking lots I havent noticed that yet. Def something to look for.

I have had them on the car for a while. My only complaint is one side has become wavy. I’ve trid to adjust it while on the car but it still looks wavy. I may take it off the car and see if it lays flat. If it does, then it has to be how it’s mounted. If it’s wavy off the car, I’ll probably replace it. I love how they look.
