Has anyone heard about this or is using this? Considering getting one of these myself. Came across this video on YouTube but it's in another language. There are several parties (couple of US based sellers as well) selling these on eBay and amazon. EBay listing mentions that it fits most sedans and suv's.

I could not see that working well outside. The material would have to be so thin to operate like that, it would deteriorite quickly. Plus, that top piece will cause paint abrasian damage over time. Very novel though.

I'm looking for a solution for my Jeep which is usually parked outside. I felt this was a unique invention. Lol. But i see what you are saying.

Yes it is interesting ... I have my modern everyday car that stays outside. Due to my job sometimes it can sit idle for a long while. I have found that any cover does no good for a vintage car (since they are rust prone), but for a modern car like one of my Challengers, covers work great and really do stop issues with leaves, dirt, sun fade, paint deterioration etc. The only thing they won't stop is paint swirls, which can be made worse if you put a cover on even a slightly dirty car.

I tried many covers from cheap to expensive. They all deteriorate but some last way longer than others. I found ironically one of the cheaper covers on Amazon is just as good as covers I paid 5x the price. Nice and thick yet allows evaporation too. Very durable & soft to the car's paint. (these run small, so for example I get the 19ft for my Challenger). Cannot beat it for $63. For best results you should buy a new cover every 2-3 years regardless of what you get. The cheap price makes it easy to do that. I found that longer warranties on more expensive covers, always have 'loopholes' and are a real pain to deal with, and like I said nothing is better than a whole new cover every few years.

Def don't want that thing on my roof. That will be an epic fail if you ask me. I actually thought it was a joke at first.
