In general, follow the PSI rating on the side of the tire for daily driving. Check when COLD. Deflate to taste for drag racing.

Rears 27 cold, just enough to keep the tire pressure sensor monitor happy, 34 upfront cold.

Got it, I usually keep it at 32 psi, but wasn’t sure if that will make the radials wear out differently so I put them lower than 32 psi. But 32 psi is fine on the nitto radials?

 

Well technically i think cold is around 26 with a warm of 28 for normal street driving, but I have no uneven wear on 32 personally.

When I called Micky Thompson about my ET Street R, they looked it up and said 28 for street use when cruising around.

 

Ended up just keeping them at 32 all around for daily

Drag strip should have many air hoses!

 

The tracks I’ve been to, they don’t “have many air hoses “.
It much more efficient to use your own portable air compressor.

That’s good information/ I would have never even thought to ask for one there .

 

I run those tires....for highway traveling only. They balanced well, were actually round, etc.
However, on a prepped track the best time I have gotten with them is 7.60. I get within a tenth of that in black key mode. 19 psi was best for me.

I plan on in the future now that I got a dirs brace, the 17 inch wheel with mt et street rs 315

 

I have a pair of Micky Thompson 315/50-17 Street R’s on 10” wide Race Star Recluse rims for sale if any one is interested let me know. Also have custom hub centric spacers for them for use on standard body hell cats and Redeye’s.

 

Ended up keeping them cold at 28 warm 30 psi,

Ok Now I see what you are talking about. That model requires the battery and charger for the battery. as seen on the bottom of the unit. The model I use is slightly different so my instructions above would only apply to the one I got. Let me find mine.
